CHRONIC-ILLNESS TO RADICAL SELF-LOVE

In my experience, health does not always come from just the right medication. Most of the time it comes from peace of mind, love-care and laughter. I’m a woman with 3 autoimmune invisible and visible chronic illnesses and because self-love isn’t taught in schools or generally in societies, I lived a long life devoid of generosity, love and self-compassion. But the lessons I learned were massive and plenty. Now on my most difficult of days, I wrap myself in a warm blanket of self-care and self-compassion and honour the needs of my body and mind. I taught myself to find humour in my every day life; for each one of us humour is a virtue that needs to be nurtured. I sincerely believe I am on this planet earth with a true calling to inspire a deep friendship with oneself, with a purpose to birth radical self-love. I am a self-love and self-care evangelist! I want everyone whether you have a chronic illness or not, to fall head over heels in love with yourself; to recognize your unique beauty, your strengths and gifts; and to finally learn how to THRIVE in your life with a chronic illness!

This program helps you restore the lost self-confidence and purpose in your life by shifting your focus in several key areas:

  • Not able to do as much as others do, does not make you a failure. When you’re beating yourself up because you have negative feelings about your body, you’re only compounding your pain. Gain the knowledge of how to move from being angry at your body to a more resourceful and spirited emotional state.
  • You are not your illness, your life isn’t over because you have chronic-illness or illnesses. I can help you develop the knowledge and skill required to create a more constructive & pragmatic attitude towards your life. We start with self-acceptance & self-compassion, freedom to visualise, breath practices and attuning to your heart and move on to other actionable coaching tools and techniques.
  • There are feelings and then there are core desires. If you are unfamiliar of your core-desired feelings then get ready for a deep dive into yourself with my guidance to connect to them. Behind every core-desire there’s a feeling. Your feelings are how you perceive life. Your perception informs you how you want to live your life.
  • Expect to become aware of what’s really serving you in your ultimate purpose and what’s not. Real, intimate conversations about where in your life are you leaking your energy and where are you growing & expanding it?
  • Get emotional support to start with small action steps, put one foot in front of the other, while keeping in mind your “WHY’s” with fierce gentleness.
  • I will guide and support you in elevating from the feelings of overwhelm, hopelessness and powerlessness that can be a part of most chronic illness journey.
  • Understanding the importance of releasing all shame and being authentic. Authenticity doesn’t mean to have to spill out every little detail about your life to be considered real; in fact it’s a daily practice of just being, acting and unapologetically showing up as the you that you are.
  • If you are now wondering what does being inauthentic look like then? Well. it’s the denying of ones talents, skills, truth and core-desires in order to make others feel comfortable is an unreal way of being. Shrinking yourself down, lowering your energy & sparkle to make others feel okay serves no one, including them.
  • Learning to say No when you feel no, is a major part of being authentic to yourself and to others. Saying NO makes space for more YES and also protects your emotional and physical health. Learn with me a list of decent and polite ways to decline an offer or to say a clear no.
  • Mastering effective ways to break down your important medium to long-term goals into reasonable and achievable chunks and daily actionable steps.
  • Get consistent support and encouragement to take tiny baby-steps towards your goals and enhance your inner confidence.
  • Get tools to deal with intense rage and frustration for what your body is putting you through and instead understand the need to make space for massive self-forgiveness. Learn to give yourself the room and quiet time to listen and observe when you are in and out of alignment.
  • Illness or no illness, flare ups or no flare ups, we all go through rough days which requires us to wrap ourselves in a warm blanket of love and self-care.
  • Learning how to process the grief that is in your body because when you’re dealing with a chronic illnesses, grief is present.
  • In my mentorship learn to fall more in love with your body and all the beautiful lessons it has taught you through the chronic pain and sufferings.
  • Each one of us is imperfectly perfect so learn to accept and embrace yourself with all your perceived imperfections and tune into higher vibrational states with more assuredness. Learn to trust yourself, your beauty, your worth, your gifts, your abilities, your intelligence and your inner guidance.
  • I also guide people with chronic illnesses to understand how to cope with the ‘loneliness’ that follows by teaching them to Love their Alone Time. Learn how to prioritise your needs, regularly make time for yourself — create the most deep & loving, authentic & intimate relationship with yourself first.
  • Each day is different and so each day we might need different kind of Self-care. (Many different types of Self-Care — Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, Professional, Psychological). Radical Self-Care – so many of us struggle with it, for some people it’s easy to talk about it but not so easy to practice it.
